TELFest 2019 - Day 2 (main conference day)

Join us on 19-20 November 2019 for TELFest, a showcase of the University's best practice and innovation in education, with a highlight on how technology can contribute to positive outcomes for teaching and learning.

TELFest is an event offered by ANU Online, the central team responsible for technology-enhanced learning (TEL) at ANU. This free, two-day event is for all staff at ANU who contribute to teaching, including academic staff, tutors, demonstrators, and professional staff in education support roles.

This is an opportunity to connect with colleagues to discuss your teaching practice, learn about new approaches and techniques, and debate key issues in technology-enhanced learning.

Morning program from 8.30am-12.30pm:

• 8.30am Registration
• 9am Welcome, Acknowledgement of Country, Opening Address
• 9.30am Fireside Chat with A/Professor Carol Hayes: Innovation is a journey, not a destination: Empowering students to own their learning
• 10.30am Morning tea
• 11am Presentation streams: Assessment & Feedback; Design, flip, blend; and Creating courses and resources

Lunch from 12.30-1.30pm (please indicate your dietary requirements upon checkout)

Afternoon program from 1.30-5.30pm:

• 1.30pm Presentation streams: Project-based learning; Art, Science, and Technology collaborations / Workshop The Devil is in the detail: creating inclusive interactive learning experiences for students in large classrooms
• 3.15pm Student panel/interactive debate
• 4.15pm Showcases, afternoon tea, and networking
• 5.30pm End
